Bashkortostan championship of Para-Equestrian Dressage will be held in Ufa

UFA, 30 September 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Juliya Antipina/. For the second time competitions on equestrian sport for people with lesions in the musculoskeletal system - Paralympic dressage will be held in Ufa.

Classic equestrian discipline - dressage - was adapted for people with disabilities. This program allows using additional controls of a horse: a special leading rein, stops in stirrups, and etc. Judges will evaluate the performance of each item, allure and interaction of a horse and a rider.

12 athletes with disorders of the musculoskeletal system will take part in the competition. Riders from Ufa, Meleuz, Tyumen confirmed their willingness to participate.

Competitions will be held at the Republican centre of hippotherapy for children with disabilities on October 2. The opening is at 13 o’clock.
