Mobile Library appeared in Ufa square

UFA, 24 September 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. A mobile library appeared in the square in Lenin Street.

As part of an innovative project "MTS Mobile Library" banners with virtual bookshelves continue to be set in streets of Ufa. Every owner of a smartphone or tablet with 4G, 3G or Wi-Fi support can download a virtual book - it is enough to point a camera of his mobile device to an individual QR-code of the book and download it in electronic format.

The first "MTS Mobile Library" was opened in the territory of the Ahmed Zaki Validi National Library of Bashkortostan as part of the annual campaign "Biblionoch 2014". The panels with images of a bookcase feature more than 170 works of Russian and foreign literature.

Organizers of the project are the Ministry of Culture, the National Library RB and JSC "Mobile TeleSystems".
