Young journalist from Bashkiria became the winner of the All-Russian competition "Challenge of the XXI Century"

UFA, 22 September 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. In the Volga Federal District the regional round of the All-Russian competition of young journalists "Challenge of XXI Century" completed. 16 winners in four categories were defined: "Year of Culture", "Politics and Economics", "Olympic Games, Health & Sports", "Interethnic and Interfaith Relations".
Olesya Nematova, the student of the School of the Young Journalist of Bashkortostan became the winner of the competition in two categories: "Year of Culture" and "Olympic Games, Health & Sports".
The organizer of the competition "Challenge of the XXI Century" is the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications (Rospechat) and the International Press Club (IPC) with the support of the Union of Journalists of Russia. Young journalists (25 and under), media workers, as well as freelance writers who published their works in October 2013 - August 2014 can participate in the competition. According to the decision of the federal jury 16 authors - winners of the competition (four in each category) will be invited by the organizers to a creative workshop carried out by well-known Russian journalists and experts and an awarding ceremony where they will receive prizes, diplomas and valuable gifts of Rospechat.
The second, federal stage of the competition will finish on September30.
The solemn ceremony will take place in October 2014.
