Basketball players of Bashkiria are selected for the Euro Cup - 2015 of International Student League

UFA, 22 September 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Evgeniya Syutkina/.The International Student Basketball League started national selections for Euro Cup – 2015. In Moscow at the Russian State University of Physical Education a drawing ceremony of the Russian part of the competition was held.
Among 16 best national teams were athletes of the Bashkir State Agrarian University, which became the third student team of our country by the end of the last season.
The Head of the Department of Physical Education at Bashkir State Agrarian University Ruzil Yagafarov, who was present at the draw as the guest of honour, shared his impressions:
“13 countries-members of International Student Basketball League (Germany, Georgia, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, Croatia, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Estonia, and Japan) started the selections of student basketball teams, which will compete for the European podium in February-May.”
As the organizer, our country will select not one, but four teams. The drawing procedure was held in warm and friendly atmosphere, there was a large number of well-known athletes, businessmen and officials.
The event was closed with a friendly basketball match between the representatives of media and the International Student Basketball League.
