Specialists of VIAM discussed cooperation prospects with Bashkortostan

UFA, 19 September 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Sergey Zakharov/. Ufa hosted a conference of representatives of the machine-building enterprises of Bashkortostan with representatives of Federal State Unitary Enterprise "All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials" (VIAM). It was attended by about eighty large and medium machine-building enterprises of the republic, the press service of the Government RB informs.

As the Deputy Prime Minister RB Dmitry Sharonov marked, a partnership with the leading Russian institute started on the initiative of Rustem Khamitov.

In August this year, the head of the region visited the experimental facilities and workshops of VIAM and suggested the institution to develop a mutually beneficial partnership with the machine-building enterprises of the republic, which was confirmed by the Protocol of Cooperation between the Government RB and the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "VIAM".

At the conference, experts from Moscow presented the essential elements of their industrial policy and shared their experience of technologies development in production of aviation materials. Also cooperation in development of new generation technologies was discussed.
