SCO Youth Innovation Forum will bring together representatives of all Russian megacities in Ufa

UFA, 18 September 2014. /Bashinform News Agency,Sergey Zakharov/. On September 18, the Government of Bashkortostan discussed the preparation and conducting of Youth Innovation Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Ufa. It will be held from October 7 to 10.

According to the vice-premier Salavat Sagitov, it is planned that representatives of Russian megacities will take part in the forum. To date 16 applications have been received, but organizers believe that the figure will continue to grow.

"Per five representatives from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and China will arrive in Bashkortostan. Experts of the Innovation Centre "Skolkovo", Agency for Strategic Initiatives, Russian Venture Company will be involved in the program development, as well as representatives of investment companies and private investors”, the head of the Department of International Cooperation and Innovation PCM Tatiana Selivyorstova said.

Adviser to the Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Renata Abdulina noted that six winners of the prestigious Zworykin award would come to Ufa for the exhibition to present their unique inventions. Bashkir universities also will have an opportunity to present two innovative projects.

According to the results of the projects competition three winners in each nomination will be determined: "Best Innovative Product", "Best Innovative Project", "Best Innovative Idea" - projects that are at the very early stages of development and representing the results of the authors research work.

Winners will receive certificates of three degrees and letters of recommendation of the Expert Council of the Youth Innovation Forum of the SCO, the press service of the ANO "Office Group of SCO & BRICS "Ufa-2015" informs.
