Ufa will become the Aksakov’s place for a day

UFA, 18 September 2014. /Bashinform News Agency,Arina Rakhimkulova/. On September 19, the large-scale Aksakov Festival will be held in Ufa. The celebrations will be opened in Sofyushkina Alley with concerts, theatrical performances and folk festivals. They will be carried out at once on 16 venues. The program of the Festival also includes an exhibition opening in the Sergey Aksakov’s Memorial House-Museum and laying flowers at the monument to the writer. Organizers and guests of the International Aksakov Festival, deputies of the City Council of Ufa will take part in the ceremony.

The Bashkir State Philharmonic Society will host a traditional Aksakov Ball organized by the Ufa City Council in collaboration with the Theatre for Young Spectators "The Mask". It will be one of the main events of the XXIV International Aksakov Festival.

After the ball a gala night is scheduled, during which the winners of the contest will be awarded the prize of the City Council named after Sergey Aksakov. The award will be handed over by the Chairman of the Ufa City Council Eugene Semivelichenko.

The celebrations will continue in Belebey region on September 20, where the Aksakov evening "Bells of Hope" will be held. On September 21, folklore festivals are planned in Ufa and Karmaskaly regions.
