Ufa townspeople prefer Lada Granta, Renault Duster and Kia Rio

UFA, 17 September 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. In Ufa, Lada Granta, Renault Duster and Kia Rio cars are in the greatest demand in the first half of the year. Such data are given by Autostat analytical agency. If we talk about brands, Lada is the leader in the new cars market in the capital of Bashkortostan, with sales of 2.1 thousand cars. The second place goes to Renault (1,3 thousand cars), the third - to Nissan (1,1 thousand units). Note that for the same period of the last year 2.5 thousand Lada cars were sold, ie, sales fell by 17.3 percent.

Also, by results of six months, Ufa entered the Top 10 on growth rates of the car market among major cities of Russia. Analytics received such data as a result of research of the new cars market. It is noteworthy that none of the top ten cities including the leader of the study showed positive trend for the period compared to the first half of 2013. St. Petersburg, standing on the first position of the rating with sales of 66260 cars for six months 2014, lost in sales less than others (-0.2 percent). In Ufa, located on the sixth line of the table, 14,010 vehicles were sold, by 12.6 percent less than for the same period of the last year.
