Observation wheel of 48 m height to be launched in Ufa

The opening of the largest Observation wheel in the country among intended for year-round use is planned in Ufa on Saturday, September 27. The height of the new amusement ride, established at the entrance to Gafuri Central Park of Culture and Rest is 48 m (compared to the old one with 20 m height). You can take a ride on this Ferris wheel in any weather, even at frosts. 24 passenger capsules will be enclosed and equipped with air conditioning and heating. Full turn of the wheel will be performed in six minutes, and it’s total capacity will be 144 people. The Observation wheel will be decorated with bright illumination. The children’s fare will be 100 rubles, the adult’s fare – 150 rubles.

On the opening day of the amusement ride an entertainment program for children and adults will be organized in the park.

Recall, that private investors are engaged in reconstruction of Gafuri Park since August 2013. They plan that it must be one of the biggest amusement parks not only in Russia but also in Europe. Here an indoor area and outdoor area are provided. The main foreign suppliers are the Netherlands and Germany gained a good reputation as roundabouts manufacturers. Builders will complete works by 2017.
