On the Day of Beauty Oxana Fedorova held a festival in Ufa

UFA, 9 September 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. On September 9, the International Day of Beauty, Ufa hosted the second Festival of Beauty and Health "Between Us Girls" organized for pupils of children's homes in Bashkortostan.

90 girls from republican orphanages and raised in foster care became participants of the one-day workshop initiated by a team of like-minded people of the Oxana Fedorova’s Charitable Foundation "Hurry To Create Wonders!" and the Ufa company "Respect" with the active support of the city administration and the Children’s Rights Ombudsman in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The event was opened by Miss Universe 2002, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, the President of the Foundation "Hurry To Create Wonders!" Oxana Fedorova and the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, famous singer and composer Gregory Gladkov. According to Oxana Fedorova, the main aim of the festival is to tell girls about women's health, to teach them to create a family atmosphere.

The Festival of Beauty and Health became a holiday for girls aged from 9 to 16 years. Participants underwent intensive courses in make-up, fashion, psychology. Girls were taught weaving bracelets and making dolls. Also there was an exclusive master class conducted by Oxana Fedorova.

The Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of Kazan Medical University, chief specialist of the Ministry of Health of Tatarstan Elmira Mingazova told about girls’ and women's health, and future maternity.

The festival ended with a performance of art groups, pupils of children's homes, as well as the awarding gifts by sponsors. The next festival "Between Us Girls" is scheduled to take place in Kazan.
