Rustem Khamitov: "Park Lesovodov will be even better"

Today the head of the republic Rustem Khamitov visited Park Lesovodov (Foresters Park) after completion of the first phase of reconstruction, which began in the spring of 2014 on his initiative.

The commissioning was scheduled for September 1. As the press service of the Ministry of Forestry of RB informs, it was managed to complete practically all types of works included in the first stage of reconstruction despite bad weather conditions.

Rustem Khamitov inspected the park noticeably changed after repairs. In particular, the forest was cleaned, paved roads and paths were made, lighting poles were installed, a picnic area was arranged, as well as children and sports playgrounds were made there.

According to the Minister of Forestry of Bashkortostan Dinir Ahmedyanov, at least five people should be hired to maintain cleanliness in the territory of the forest park. In addition, during the month it is planned to install a video surveillance system for the safety of tourists.

Director of Ufa-forestry college Damir Askarov noted that only in the spring and summer of this year, more than 4.5 thousand cubic meters of various debris were removed from the territory of the forest park. According to him, there are plans to accomplish springs and create a pond fish farm in the park.
