Residents of the republic can support Ufa and other cities in the online voting "Different Children are Important"

More than 70 thousand people voted for Ufa in the annual competition of Russian cities "Different Children are Important" held by the Fund to Support Children in Difficult Situations for the fifth year.
The main idea of the competition is simple: any child under any circumstances of life should not be "erased" from full and happy life. This year 161 cities from 53 subjects of Russia participate in the competition. Apart from Ufa, our republic is represented by another eight cities.
The Internet voting takes place on the website "I am a parent!" where anyone can vote for any city. The voting will last until November 1.
This year, the participating cities for the first time are invited to perform competitive tasks. As the city administration explains, under the first task the scheme of architectural and transport accessibility of all sports, socio-cultural and other institutions and facilities of Ufa for disabled children was presented.
According to the requirements of the second task a list of needs in volunteering and other forms of assistance was created. This list of needs is regularly updated and contains recommendations for potential volunteers and donors.
The result of the third task was the development of the urban model of inter-agency response in case of information reception about signs of child abuse.
