Rospotrebnadzor starts checking McDonald's restaurants in Bashkiria

Rospotrebnadzor (Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights) will conduct checks of McDonald's restaurants in Bashkortostan. The corresponding order was obtained by the federal government health service of the country. As the Head of Food Hygiene Supervision Department Ildar Urazbakhtin explains it is unscheduled check-out and will be held in all seven fast-food McDonald's restaurants in Ufa.
The supervisory agency marks that "the inspections are carried out in connection with numerous violations in Moscow. Now, all restaurants of the chain are checked on their compliance with sanitary legislation of Russia".
Recall that Rospotrebnadzor in Moscow during the supervisory activities in relation to McDonald's restaurants revealed numerous violations of the sanitary legislation on August 8-20 2014.
On August 20, on the grounds of violations facts, specialists of Moscow Rospotrebnadzor initiated cases on administrative offenses, drew up protocols on temporary ban for operation of four quick-service McDonald's restaurants. Case papers are being prepared for transfer to the court according to the procedure prescribed by the law. Checking activities of companies of the specified chain will be continued.
