Delegation of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic appreciated the significance of the House of Peoples' Friendship RB

The House of Peoples' Friendship of Bashkortostan hosted a meeting of representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora in the region with a delegation of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Russia. The meeting was also attended by the Director of the Republican House of Peoples' Friendship Azat Ibragimov, representatives of the Ministry of Culture RB, the regional public organization "Centre of Kyrgyz Culture Ala-Too". The parties discussed topical issues for the Kyrgyz diaspora in Bashkortostan and outlined plans for further cooperation.

The head of interregional and international cultural co-operation department of the Ministry of Culture RB Alsu Sirgalina told that representatives of the friendly republic often came to Bashkortostan to take part in various festivals and art contests. Artists from Ufa, Sterlitamak, Salavat, who are touring in Kyrgyzstan also maintain our cultural links.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic in Russia Bolot Dzhunusov noted that it was culture and spiritual connection that lay in the basis of friendship between the peoples. He highly praised the significance of the House of Peoples' Friendship of Bashkortostan.

Azat Ibragimov stressed that this meeting would give an impetus for closer cooperation between the two peoples. The Kirghiz and Bashkirs have ethnic kinship ties, the similarity of languages and traditions.

During the visit, the delegation will visit the Chamber of Commerce and Industry RB, where the guests will talk with a representative of the management of JSC "Gazprom neftechim Salavat". In addition, it is planned to visit the Federal Migration Service of Russia in Bashkortostan, JSC "Ufimkabel" and make an excursion to the monument of Salavat Yulaev.
