Bashkir foil fencers became medal winners of Russian Youth Games’ finals

Bashkir foil fencers won medals in the finals of fencing competitions at the III Summer Youth Games of Russia. These days the city of Azov, Rostov region hosts more than 300 fencers of the country.

In the team tournament of foil fencers the women’s team of Bashkortostan including Adelina Zagidullina, Tatiana Goloseeva and Veronica Lavrenova won the "silver" losing in the finals only to the home team. Moscow foil fencers closed the top three.

Earlier, the men's team of fencers won "gold", leaving behind all its rivals.

The competition will be finished with epee fencers fights. Bashkortostan is presented here only in the men's tournament, the press service of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Bashkortostan Republic informs.
