Bashkiria became the leader among Russian regions in organization of physical education and sports activities

Bashkortostan won the first place in the All-Russian contest for the best organization of physical education and sports activities in the Russian Federation in 2013, the press service of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Bashkortostan informs.

Our republic became the leader among the regions with a population of over 2 million people. The second place went to Krasnodar Territory, and the third - to Sverdlovsk Region.

Recall that Bashkortostan wins in the contest for the second consecutive year by the sum of indicators such as material and technical base, adapted physical education and sport, youth sport, funding of physical culture and sports.
