Monthly norm of precipitation has fallen in Uchaly region for a day

According to Uchaly weather station for two days in the city and Uchaly region 87 mm of rain has fallen at a monthly rate of 51 mm.

Two storm fronts caused a rainfall with abnormal strength and intensity. Heavy rain accompanied by a thunderstorm and gusty, sometimes squally wind, caused significant flooding of streets and courtyards of Uchaly, private houses in the nearby settlements. Storm water drain of the city was overwhelmed with the coming water, real rivers formed on city streets.

Because of strong lightning discharges the power supply system of the city and settlements of the region was partially disabled. Several kindergartens of the city and maternity hospital were de-energized.

Currently, electricity supply is fully restored. However, according to Uchaly weather station, rains and thunderstorms will continue in the coming days.

Earlier Bashinform News Agency reported about an anomalous snowfall in the territory of Uchaly region in mid-July.
