Salavat College received charitable goods from Germany

On July 30, a vehicle with looms, a spinning wheel, electric wheelchairs, lifts for bathrooms, rollator walkers and a scooter for disabled people arrived at Salavat College of Education and Professional Technology from Germany. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Bashkortostan.
Organization and delivery of charity goods for students with health problems was undertaken by German non-governmental organization "Bridge to Ufa» of Baden-Wuerttemberg Land and its chairman, occupational therapist Leenhof Jurgen Redler. This equipment is intended for organization of labour workshops for people with disabilities - students of Salavat College of Education and Professional Technology. The master from Germany will teach college students with disabilities weaving techniques.
A scientific and educational resource centre for inclusive education development operates at Salavat College of Education and Professional Technology. The international project in this area was initiated by the Committee for UNESCO Affairs RB. Educational institutions and rehabilitation centres of the republic are engaged in activities for social rehabilitation of people with disabilities.
