Internet portals of nine municipalities of Bashkiria compete for victory in the All-Russian Contest

Official web sites of seven regions and two urban districts of Bashkortostan compete for victory in the all-Russian Contest "Best Municipal Website 2014". Currently Sterlitamak region gained the greatest number of votes among republican Internet portals - it takes 21st place out of 125 contestants. It is followed by official websites of Yanaul, Tuimazy regions and the city of Kumertau. The remaining five republican portals have a low rating yet.

Annual All-Russian Contest of local governments’ websites is held to popularize Internet technologies in work of municipalities and other organizations in the field of local self-government.

Organizers of the contest are Municipal Academy, the Committees of the Federation Council and the State Duma on Local Government and "Uprava" magazine.
