Doctors from London shared their experience with Bashkir colleagues

Ufa hosted a meeting of students, teachers and doctors of Bashkir State Medical University (BSMU) with representatives of University College London. Exchange of experience took place at the initiative of the deputy of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan, BSMU rector Valentin Pavlov.

During the visit British doctors examined work of our university clinic and modern simulation centre.

At the meeting the guests talked about medical education system in England, the recurrent education of physicians.

At the Republican Cardiology Centre a training cycle "Preventive Cardiology" was organized. A series of lectures for cardiologists, internists, general practitioners and other specialists were read by representatives of University College London: the executive director of the International Society of Cardiology and Risk Factor Modification ICHARM, Medical Advisor of Raisa Gorbachev Foundation, Professor Harald Lipman, Professor Joe Rosenthal, Professor Richard Meakin.
