Results of spring conscription: 6,000 Bashkiria residents have joined the ranks of Russian Armed Forces

More than 6,000 recruits from Bashkortostan joined the ranks of the Russian army. About 1200 of them have higher education. The Military Commissariat of the republic gives preliminary results of the spring draft.

According to the Military Commissariat the plan of the General Staff of Russian Armed Forces on recruiting is made in full and on time.

More than 950 recruits were directed to Western Military District, about 350 - to Southern Military District, more than 1,400 to the East Military District, over 2000 to the Central Military District.

During the spring conscription all recruits received personal e-cards upon arrival at military units. For the first time in the history of the Russian Armed Forces, each draftee was provided with an "Army Travel Bag" consisting of 18 items of personal hygiene.

In 2014 117 people evaded service during the spring draft. Materials on 74 draft evaders were submitted to the investigating authorities.
