People with disabilities will take part in a motor rally to Crimea

The final list of participants and vehicles is formed, which will go on a rally from Ufa to Crimea on July 25. Recall that the car rally for disabled people over cities of Russia and the Republic of Crimea is organized by Bashkir Regional NGO of wheelchair users "Alternative". The main purpose of the trip is to get acquainted with life of local disabled people, to establish friendly relations, to collaborate in development of sports and joint cultural events, as well as to popularize accessible tourism.

“Now there are finally selected 12 vehicles for the rally, including cars, vans, there is a "Gazelle" vehicle. There are total 45 passengers, among them there are children. On July 25 at 10:00, we start from the square in front of Ufa city administration”, the chairman of "Alternative" Tatiana Selezneva said. “We want to make a route of the motor rally permanent as people with disabilities in the future will be able to easily navigate in a similar journey. We plan to return on August 3-6.”

Residents of Ufa, Ust-Katav, Octyabrsky, Beloretsk, Sterlitamak, Iglino will participate in the rally. Student volunteers will help people with disabilities during the trip. Wheelchair users from Volgograd and Taganrog will join the rally on the way. The car rally is organized by sponsorship.
