All-Russia Festival "Dairy Country 2014" will be held in Ufa

The All-Russia Festival "Dairy Country 2014" will be held in Lenin Square in Ufa on August 30.

The festival will traditionally feature a dairy fair, where republican manufacturers will present their products. Improvised farms with domestic animals will be organized on the square.

Organizers of the "Dairy Country 2014" are the Ministry of Agriculture RF and the National Union of Milk Producers, with the support of the Republican Government.

The First All-Russia Festival "Dairy Country" was held in Ufa in September 2011. In 2013, the festival was visited by over 20 thousand people. There were several thematic platforms, dairy cafes, amusement. Creativity and culinary workshops, games were held there.

In 2013, at the festival 47.4 tons of dairy products, 4.8 tons of butter, 3.4 tons of cheese, two tons of ice cream, 6.8 thousand of cans of condensed milk, and 5.3 thousand bottles of kumys and 320 bottles of goat milk were tasted and sold.
