Reconstruction is begun in Ufa Foresters Park

In Ufa Foresters Park reconstruction is started, access to the park is limited till September 1.

Redevelopment of the park is carried out on the initiative of the head of the republic Rustem Khamitov. In May 2014 a city-wide ecological clean-up was held in the park. During the clean-up Rustem Khamitov gave instructions to lay new hiking and cycle lanes, to establish lighting, develop fencing to prevent entrance to the park by cars.

About 50 million rubles of extrabudgetary funds were attracted. These funds will be spent on construction of new footpaths, installation of benches, lighting, arrangement of sporting and children's playgrounds.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Forestry RB, currently special equipment is working in the park; workers are removing old asphalt, digging trenches, preparing the territory.

The renovated park is scheduled to open by early September.
