18-ton bell "Alexander Nevsky" will arrive in Ufa

The 18-ton bell "Alexander Nevsky" will arrive in Ufa. The main bell of Alexander Nevsky Lavra is making a sacred procession from Kamensk-Uralsky to St. Petersburg. The bell will "visit" Ufa on July 18.
As Ufa diocese reports, the capital of Bashkortostan is the second city on the route. The bell will be exhibited near the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin (102, Kirov Str.) where the townspeople will be able to see it.
Then the bell will go to Samara, Saratov, Penza, Ryazan, Moscow, Yaroslavl, Vologda, Cherepovets, Tikhvin and will arrive in St. Petersburg.
The vehicle with the bell will be accompanied with a portable belfry. In each of the cities stops are planned during which bell ringers of the International Bell Art Centre will give master classes, and everyone will be able to try oneself in the art of bell ringing.
The bell is named in honour of the Russian Faithful Saint Prince Alexander Nevsky. Presumably, the bell will arrive at the Alexander Nevsky Monastery on the Battle of the Neva Memorial Day July 28.
