International Expert Council for Conservation of Shulgan-Tash Heritage is created under the Government RB

The International Expert Council for the Conservation of Paleolithic Cave Sanctuary Shulgan-Tash (Kapova cave) is created under the Government of Bashkortostan. Its first meeting will be held in the natural reserve "Shulgan-Tash" on July 11.

Liliya Gumerova, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB is appointed the Chairman of Expert Council, Igor Makovetsky, the Chairman of the Russian National Committee of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage of the Russian Commission for UNESCO, the President of the Russian National Committee of ICOMOS (International Council on Monuments and Sites) is appointed the Co-Chairman of the Council.

Also Expert Council includes 22 members. Among them there are representatives of UNESCO, ICCROM (International Centre for Research Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property), Russian and regional academic community, the bodies of federal and local government.
