In Bashkiria students speak Russian better than on average in Russia

The overall decline in average scores of the Unified State Exam in the Russian language was registered at the level of one percent in Bashkortostan. On average in Russia, this figure reaches 10 percent. This was announced by the Education Minister RB Alfis Gayazov at the 11th meeting of the State Assembly.

“There is a decrease tendency in average scores of all school subjects”, Alfis Gayazov said. “To identify the cause, we will carry out an analysis of top ten schools on results of the Unified State Examination and ten schools, respectively, the last on this indicator. I am glad that the level of knowledge of the Russian language among the republican students remains at the proper level,” the Minister of Education of Bashkortostan stated.
