New graffiti object devoted to 440th anniversary of Ufa fortress to appear in the capital

Artists decorated a wall with graffiti in October Avenue in Ufa. A drawing of Ufa wooden fortress is devoted to the 440th anniversary of its founding.

The wall painting was made by famous graffiti artists of the city - Oleg Kaibyshev, Pavel Dorofeev, Arthur Muzipov and Ruslan Ismagilov. Workpieces by the artists - portraits of the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, the World War II veterans - already decorate the facades of apartment buildings in Ufa.

“We want to show young people that graffiti and vandalism is not the same thing. Good street art is an art that can make our city more beautiful, can preserve the history and culture of Ufa”, the artists say.
