"For Parental Valour" medal will be established in Bashkiria
In Bashkortostan a medal "For Parental Valour" will be established - the corresponding bill on making amendments to Article 2 of the Law "On state awards and honorary titles of the Republic of Bashkortostan" was discussed at the meeting of the Government RB on Wednesday, June 11.
The bill provides for awarding the parents, who raised children, whose merits glorify Bashkortostan with the medal "For Parental Valour". Such achievements can be not only in sports, art, military service; heroic deeds in everyday life will be marked too.
In addition, the medal will be awarded to families bringing up three or more children with disabilities for at least ten years.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB Liliya Gumerova, this award will not be massive. It is planned to award about ten families a year, one of parents will receive an award of 100,000 rubles. "For Parental Valour" medal will be handed over on the International Family Day, on May 15.
The bill will be completed and submitted to the deputies of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan in late June.
