Tamara Tansykkuzhina - silver medalist of European Championship Rapid

Fivefold world champion Tamara Tansykkuzhina became the second at European Championship Rapid 2014 held in Prague.

Besides Tamara Tansykkuzhina, Bashkortostan was presented in the competition by the world champion 2012 Aigul Idrisova and the world champions as part of the Russian team Murodullo Amrillaev and Ainur Shaibakov.

Victoriya Motrichko (Ukraine) won among the women with 14 points. Tamara Tansykkuzhina with 12 points was the second, followed by Lyudmila Litvinenko (Ukraine) with 11 points. Aigul Idrisova also had 11 points, but she took the fourth place due to lower coefficient, the Ministry of Youth and Sports RB informs.

Artem Ivanov (Ukraine) won among the men - 14 points, silver went to Alexander Getmansky with 13 points and Alexander Shvartsman was on the third place with 12 points. Both athletes are from Russia. Murodullo Amrillaev became the fourth and Ainur Shaibakov - the seventh.

Draughts players will get another chance to win at the traditional tournament "Golden Prague", kicked off on June 8. More than 50 people submitted applications for participation in the 34th International Tournament in Prague.
