Delegation of Chinese city Chongqing visited Bashkortostan

In Ufa the delegation of the city of Chongqing of the People's Republic of China met with the leadership of Bashkortostan Republic.

"The cooperation between the Russian Federation and China is growing rapidly,” the head of the region Rustem Khamitov said. "The Republic of Bashkortostan is a large industrial republic; we develop such industries as petroleum, petrochemical, engineering and agricultural ones. We can cooperate with you in these and other areas. It would be interesting to establish business and friendly relations with the city of Chongqing. Negotiations are underway to open an office of one of the Chinese companies here, to construct a plant for making drilling equipment , to open a logistics center - in short , contacts are on the rise. I invite your specialists, investors to participate in joint projects for development of industry, agriculture, road and transport infrastructure, housing construction. M-r Zhang Fengu, the representative of the Chongqing delegation said that that was his first visit to Bashkortostan. The purpose of the trip is to strengthen cooperation between two regions".

“Before going to Bashkortostan, we have carefully studied the industries developing in the republic” said Zhang Fengu. “We are interested in cooperation in the field of engineering, agriculture, logistics, trade, infrastructure construction and real estate. We have already prepared several projects and now we will hold talks with the relevant republican ministries.”
