Bashkir State Pedagogical University will cooperate with universities of fifteen SCO member-states

The VII Education Week of SCO member-states was closed with unprecedented conclusion of partnership agreements between Bashkir State Pedagogical University and 15 universities of SCO member-states, the press centre of the university informs.

On May 22, an agreement on mutual cooperation between the M.Akmulla’s Bashkir State Pedagogical University and Northeast Normal University (Changchun) was signed at a meeting with Chinese delegation.

During the meeting, the delegates of the People's Republic of China shared their impressions of their staying in the Bashkir capital. In their opinion, an important contribution to the creation of conditions for the harmonious dialogue without a doubt was made by Bashkir State Pedagogical University. Thus, according to the Deputy Director of International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Education of China Yu Jihai, he was inspired with the idea of establishing a centre of Chinese culture at the Institute of philological education and intercultural communication in Ufa.

Under the agreement, the exchange of students between universities will begin in 2015, and by that time Russian students should learn Chinese language. By the way, experts in language training are provided by the Chinese side. Classes are scheduled in the current academic year already. Similar agreement has been already concluded with Beijing Pedagogical University.

In addition, on the same day, a meeting of delegates took place, where 14 contracts were signed with SCO member-states.
