Re-enactment of the Great Patriotic War battles to be held near Blagoveshchensk

On May 24-25, in Blagoveshchensk region of the republic participants of socio-dramatic play will reproduce the events of March 1943, at the Voronezh Front.

Participants of "Spring 1943" will play episodes of liberation operations of western cities of our country.

The event is an action-oriented outdoor game with elements of staging. Each participant is given a role and a task, which he should perform. The game will represent several parties: the Russian and German army, detachment of partisans, villagers of Jasenevo.

“We 're not looking for a 100 percent historical accuracy”, Andrey Lukyanov, the organizer said. “Participants choose their leaders, they are engaged in tactics and strategy, fight, cook meals. Each side can win. Everything depends on a player's actions.”

Now more than 70 people applied for participation in "Spring 1943".

“We decided to conduct a large-scale event to draw attention of young people to the events of the Great Patriotic War. Also we want to give them an opportunity to feel themselves real defenders of the country and the heroes”, the organizers note.

Registration and gathering of game participants will begin on May 24 at 16.00.
