Professor of Bashkir State University is in the list of the most cited Russian scientists

Vladislav Shagapov, Professor at Department of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics of Sterlitamak branch of Bashkir State University entered the list of the most cited Russian scientists according to national information - analytical system "Russian Science Citation Index (RISC) in 2014.

As the press - center of Bashkir State University informs, academician of the Academy of Sciences RB is included in the Top 100 in the "Mechanics" course. His Hirsch index equals 8, the number of publications - 183, citation - 461.

Russian Science Citation Index is an objective system of evaluation and analysis of publication activity and citation of domestic researchers, organizations and editions. RISC monitors effectiveness of research work of over 600,000 Russian scientists and 11,000 scientific organizations, representing all branches of knowledge. The database contains more than 5.7 million publications of Russian authors and information about their citation from more than four thousand Russian magazines. It is supported by the Ministry of Education and Science RF.
