Participants of environmental campaign collected half a ton of garbage from the banks of Blue Lake, located in Karmaskaly region. According to the press service of the Ministry of Ecology RB, this was the first republican event as part of the nationwide campaign "Let’s our rivers and lakes will have clean banks!"

30 people took part in the clean-up of the water reservoir. Employees of Priufimskaya Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology RB and local residents cleaned the area adjacent to the lake.

Within the framework of the national campaign "Let’s our rivers and lakes will have clean banks!" clean-ups of river banks will be held in 57 regions of the country. The campaign is held on the initiative of the RF Ministry of Natural Resources with the organizational support of the Russian Society for Nature Conservation.

Zyangyar-Kuhl or Blue Lake – is a lake- spring, located at 100 kilometres from Ufa. Its area is 400 square metres. The lake got its name because of medical blue clay lying on its bottom. The water reservoir is given a status of hydrological natural monument.
