Ufa hosts the VII SCO Education Week "Education without Borders"

On May 20, the VII SCO Education Week "Education without Borders" is opened in Ufa with participation of the SCO University Rectors, representatives of the Russian Academy of Sciences, prominent figures in science, education and culture of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The theme of the plenary session, to be held at the Congress Hall on Wednesday, May 21, is "Problems and perspectives of preparing highly skilled personnel for innovative education and economic development of SCO member states".

The today program includes a visit to the Museum of Archeology and Ethnography of the Institute of Ethnological Studies USC RAS, the National Youth Theatre to see the play "Love having won the war" by Mustai Karim and the meeting of rectors of pedagogical universities and members of the Russian Academy of Education to be held at Bashkir State Pedagogical University (BSPU).

The week scheduled two round tables with online translation: "Modernization of teachers training process in the higher education system of the Eurasian space" at Bashkir State Pedagogical University; "Convergence of educational programs in the network university in the field of economics" at Ufa State Aviation Technical University.

In addition, the forum program includes an exhibition-presentation of scientific and educational projects of vocational pedagogical education and a press conference.

In 2015, the International Summit of SCO and BRICS Heads of States and Governments will be held in Ufa.
