EMS Russian Post launches a new service - SMS-notifications

EMS Russian Post launched SMS-notification service in test mode, the press service of the Bashkortostan Directorate of the Federal Postal Service informs.

Mobile information will allow clients to know in advance about the arrival of the courier at the address specified for express delivery.

The service mechanism is simple: EMS message comes on a mobile phone number of the sender informing that the courier departed on the route with a dispatch and the client should expect delivery in the near future.

SMS-notification service is free of charge to the clients.

Earlier EMS Russian Post had more complex system of notifications. A sender had to fill in a form and pay for the "mobile" service.
