"1000 Cyclists Day" pleased cycling lovers of Ufa and guests of the city

Yesterday Ufa hosted the traditional for Ufa residents annual parade - IV "1000 Cyclists Day", where everyone can show their original vehicles.

This year cycling lovers from Kazan, Izhevsk, Yekaterinburg, Sterlitimak , Salavat, Neftekamsk came to Ufa.

The "1000 Cyclists Day" broke the record for massive participation. In 2011, the number of participants did not reach five hundred, this year the parade passed the bar of five thousand of only registered participants. Those who joined the marathon along the route were not included in this statistics. By some estimates, the total number of participants approached 10 thousand, according to organizers.

The celebrations continued at the finish of the bike ride. In the territory of the amphitheater near the Congress Hall there was an extreme bike show featuring the best Russian athletes, as well as a concert of famous Russian artists. Also contests, games and raffles were organized there for participants of the sports festival.
