RUSNANO Head is ready to support USATU scientists in promoting advanced developments

Anatoly Chubais, the Chairman of the Board of JSC "RUSNANO" during his working trip to Bashkortostan visited Ufa State Aviation Technical University. He visited the Multiple-Access Centre of "Nanostructured Materials and High Technology" scientific-educational centre.

Anatoly Chubais acquainted with results of work on creation of prototype aircraft engine blades of the new generation. Having demonstrated awareness of the research related to the bulk nanostructured materials, he highly estimated scientific work of the USATU Professor Ruslan Valiev, having named him the leader in this field of science in Russia.

The RUSNANO Head was particularly interested in creation of aircraft engine parts made of composite materials. Chubais announced his readiness to support USATU scientists in promoting these advanced developments.

At the end of his visit Anatoly Chubais and USATU Rector Murat Guzairov handed over diplomas to graduates of advanced professional training course in the field of gas turbine engine components from nano-composite materials. This course was developed in USATU with support of RUSNANO Infrastructure and Educational Programs Fund. 15 specialists of JSC "UMPO", among which were designers, engineers, materials scientists and managers, received the diplomas. Many of them were USATU graduates, the press centre of the university reports.
