Education Week of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will be held in Ufa

The VII Education Week of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization under the motto "Education Without Borders" will be held in Ufa from 20 to 23 May at M.Akmulla’s Bashkir State Pedagogical University.

Conducting of the Education Week is aimed at further developing and strengthening cooperation among the SCO member states in the field of education.

As the leading expert of the Department of Press and Mass Communications of the ANO "Office Group of SCO & BRICS" Ufa -2015" Elena Aryamnova informs, the international forum will bring together about 80 participants, including rectors of SCO University, representatives of the Russian Academy of Sciences, prominent figures of science, education and culture of the SCO member states.

It is supposed that the Chairman of the Coordination Council of SCO Universities Rectors, the Chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education, People's Friendship University Rector Vladimir Filippov, the deputy head of Rossotrudnichestvo RF Larisa Efremova will participate in the forum.

To date, SCO University includes over 70 universities. Also an interaction is carried out with the observer countries - Mongolia, India, Iran and Pakistan. The project focuses on mutual exchange of knowledge and academic mobility of students from different countries to improve various education directions.

Bashkir State Pedagogical University was included in the network of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization University in 2013.
