Bashkortostan media executives will participate in environmental action

Media executives of Bashkortostan will participate in environmental clean-up event in Ufa. The environmental event with editors, journalists and media workers will be held for the second time. The campaign was organized by administration of the Kirov district of the capital last year, which was devoted to the environment protection.

“Then about 15 heads of print media, television and radio, news agencies, republican agency for print media participated in the cleanup. This year, mass media also actively supported the event,” the Deputy Head of Public Relations and Media of Kirov district administration Gulnur Kutlushina said. “It is planned to plant 25-30 linden seedlings near house No. 45 in Pushkin Street. Also participants will be engaged in painting, collecting garbage and cleaning of the surrounding area.”

The environmental event will be held on May 16, at 14.00.
