10 wildfires occurred in Bashkiria since the beginning of fire hazardous season

From April 1 to May 15, 10 forest fires were registered in Bashkortostan, the press service of the Ministry of Forestry RB informs. Fire covered 51.9 hectares of forest lands. The average fire area reaches 5.2 hectares. Efficient response to fires is 90 percent. Currently there are no fires in the republic.

Recall that just this week four fires were registered in Burzian region. Two of them occurred near Magadeevo village, two more - in Asibarskoye district forestry.

As the operations control centre of the ministry reports, aircraft is involved for detection of forest fires in the region. During aerial surveillance new fires have not been recorded.

The Ministry of Forestry RB asks residents in case of fire in a forest or close to forest areas to call twenty-four-hour toll-free phone 8-800-100-94-00.
