Environmental activists of Bashkortostan collected 20 bags of garbage on Yuraktau Sheehan

Last weekend, 15 volunteers spent an environmental campaign at Yuraktau Sheehan having collected 20 bags of garbage. As the Sheehan support group reports in "VKontakte" social network among waste there were glass and plastic bottles, cans and other litter. For three hours environmental activists managed to clear only the western slope of the mountain.

On May 17 the volunteer clean-up will continue. Volunteers plan to clear the eastern slope of Sheehan. According to organizers, the garbage remained on the site in front of rocks and near the river. Everyone is welcome to participate in the environmental event.
