Athletes from Bashkortostan - winners of Volkov Cup international competition

Yesterday the international competitions in sports acrobatics (Volkov Cup), commemorating the twice Hero of the Soviet Union, pilot-cosmonaut Vladislav Volkov finished in the city of Oktyabrsky.

This year, the only international competitions in sports acrobatics held in Russia was attended by 175 representatives of the elite world of acrobatics - the winners of the World Cup, European Championships from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus and Russia.

Bashkortostan Republic as part of the Russian team was presented by two women's groups, alumni of Children's and Youth Sports School No. 1 of Oktyabrsky city Valeriya Muratova, Violetta Muratova, Karina Jawahiri, Ekatherina Platoshkina, Karina Akhsanova and the alumnus of Children's and Youth Sports School No. 8 of Ufa city Evelina Snisarenko.

As the administration of Oktyabrsky reports, the republican team showed excellent results. In the women's group 12-18 years alumni of the coach Alexander Dergounov Karina Akhsanova, Ekatherina Platoshkina and Evelina Snisarenko climbed the first step of the podium. The second place in the women's group 13 - 19 years went to the triple of the coach Olesya Mullagalieva - Valeriya Muratova, Violetta Muratova and Karina Jawahiri .

As part of the closing ceremony athletes were awarded with letters of appreciation from the Russian Federation of Sports Acrobatics.
