Bashkiria will join the national campaign on cleaning up rivers and lakes

Bashkortostan republic supported the national campaign "Clean Banks to our Rivers and Lakes!", the press service of the Ministry of Nature Management and Ecology RB informs.

Activities on cleaning up the banks of water reservoirs will be held from May 26 to June 6. Currently subdivisions of Republican environmental agency formed a list of water bodies which territory will be cleaned.

The Ministry of Ecology of Bashkortostan republic encourages residents to participate in ongoing activities and to make their contribution to the preservation and maintenance of reservoirs. The organizers of the campaigns in regions and cities are territorial departments and committees of the Ministry.

Cleaning up of riverbanks with the organizational support of the All-Russian Society of Nature Preservation will be conducted by volunteers in 57 regions of the country.

The "Clean Banks to our Rivers and Lakes!" campaign is conducted on the initiative of the RF Ministry of Natural Resources and aims to improve the state of water bodies, develop social activity of people and careful attitude for nature in children and youth.
