Bashkiria will join the nationwide campaign on 100 million trees planting

Residents of Bashkortostan will take part in the "Russian Forest Planting Day" campaign. Already traditional event on landscaping towns and villages will last until May 17.

Taking into account climate conditions of Bashkortostan, the "green" campaign will take place in three stages in the region, the press service of the Ministry of Forestry RB informs. In 13 regions - Arkhangelsky , Aurgazinsky, Blagovarsky, Buzdyaksky, Ishimbaysky , Ilishevsky, Karmaskalinsky, Kugarchinsky, Kuyurgazinsky , Meleuzovsky , Sterlibashevsky , Sterlitamaksky and Chishminsy - trees will be planted until May 3.

From 5 to May 10 the Forest Planting Day is scheduled for Abzelilovsky, Alsheevsky, Baimaksky, Bakalinsky, Belebeevsky, Bizhbulyaksky , Birsky , Blagoveschensky, Buraevsky , Gafuriysky, Davlekanovsky, Dyurtyulinsky , Ermekeevsky, Zianchurinsky, Iglinsky, Kaltasinsky, Krasnokamsky, Kushnarenkovsky, Mishkinsky, Miyakinsky , Nurimanovsky, Tuimazinsky, Ufimsky, Fedorovsky, Haybullinsky, Chekmagushevsky and Sharansky regions.

The final stage of the environmental campaign - from May 12 to 17 - will be held in Askinsky, Baltachevsky , Belokataysky, Beloretsky, Burziansky, Duvansky , Zilairsky, Karaidelsky , Kiginsky, Mechetlinsky, Salavatsky , Tytyshlinsky, Uchalinsky and Yanaulsky regions.

The Federal Forestry Agency and NGO "Forest Community " also urge to carry out a large-scale event on greening cities and villages. Bashkortostan will join the project on May 7. So far two places are defined for future plantings in the region: Bashkir Foresters Park in Ufa and a land plot in Iglinskiy region allocated for afforestation belts creation.

"From May 9 to 17, we will plant 100 million trees in the territories of forests affected by fire, bark beetles and illegal logging for the last couple of years. The project geography is the whole country", the organizers of the nationwide project promise.
