Prospects and problems of investment in sports facilities were discussed in Ufa

A joint meeting of the team of the United Russia project "Bashkortostan. New investment types" and the Committee of the State Assembly RB for Education, Culture, Sport and Youth Policy on the topic "Prospects and problems of investment in sports facilities" was held in Ufa.

The discussion was attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports RB Andrey Ivanyuta, the first deputy head of Ufa administration Alexander Filippov, deputies of the State Assembly RB, heads of departments, experts from Moscow and St. Petersburg.

“Today there are 10712 sports facilities in the republic. Of course, we keep in mind that most of them were built in 70-80-es of the last century and no longer meet modern standards”, Andrey Ivanyuta said. He familiarized the participants with the state sports facilities funding in Bashkortostan.

Alexander Filippov told about attracting investment in the construction of sports facilities directly in Ufa.

Issues on requirements to the construction of sports arenas considering decisions of the Government of Russia on development of mass sports programs and application of modern technologies were raised there also.
