"The Ecology of Mind" project started in Bashkortostan

On April 21, the republican ecological project "The Ecology of Mind" started in Bashkortostan. The event takes place as part of the annual International Ecological Event "To Save and Preserve" aimed at formation of ecological culture among the population.

Within the project ecological lessons and practical exercises will be held in educational institutions of the republic.

The main objectives of the project are promoting environmental outlook, support and development of continuous environmental education. Representatives of regional offices and committees of the Ministry of Ecology, teachers of natural history will take part in conducting ecological lessons.

Environmental lessons and workshops will continue at schools until April 26.

Recall that the first project "The Ecology of Mind" was introduced in the republic in 2013 – during the Year of the Environment Protection. More than 630 educational institutions participated in it. Lessons were held according to a single scenario focused on drawing attention of the rising generation to the problem of solid household waste.

The project was organized by the Ministry of Nature and Ecology jointly with the Ministry of Education RB.
