Noncommercial Internet projects competition starts in Bashkortostan

The interregional competition of Noncommercial Internet Projects "Digital country" starts in Bashkortostan. It is organized by the macro-regional branch "Volga" of OJSC "Rostelecom" supported by Bashinformsvyaz. Participation in the competition is open to active users of social websites, forums, blogs, communication services of any telecom operator from all regions of the Volga Federal District (except the Perm Territory), without age limit.

Applications should be submitted before May 12, 2014. Each participant may submit no more than one project, and only in one of the following categories: the best social web project; the best online education project; the best online project in the field of culture; the best sports online project; the best thematic Internet project.

Projects submitted to the competition should be organized not earlier than January 1, 2013 and no later than 1 January 2014.

Winners will be announced on May 21. At the district level the jury will award one project in the category "Telecommunications". In addition, Rostelecom reserves the right to support one of the projects submitted for the competition.
