A native of Ufa Daniil Kvyat at the Chinese Grand Prix "Formula 1" racing closed the points zone having finished the tenth and thus equaled the scoring with his Toro Rosso team-mate Jean-Eric Vergne. Recall that Daniil Kvyat previously wrote himself into the history of the "royal races" as the youngest driver in the history of "Formula 1".

Mercedes pilot Lewis Hamilton won the race. It was his third victory after the debut season in the Australian Grand Prix. His teammate Nico Rosberg finished the second again, while retaining the overall lead. Ferrari representative Fernando Alonso was the third for the first time in this season. The Red Bull champion team located a step away from the podium (4th and 5th positions).
